Perth produces and trains many of the finest young dancers in Australia. Our city is a producer of world class dance talent. However, many of our young dancers find it hard to launch their careers, and are forced to leave Perth or even Australia in search of work.
We exist to create projects for these dancers here in Perth - designed not only to engage the dancers, but also to engage audiences and community. We create exciting, dynamic performance projects that attract new audiences to the arts, and deliver creative performances tailor-made for corporate and community events.
We aim to bring a new level of professionalism to contemporary dance. Our productions and events are ambitious, beautifully presented and polished.
We are all about engaging our brilliant young dancers with the Perth community, so that they can thrive and succeed right here, instead of having to choose between their dreams and their home.

Nyssa is our new annual project for neoclassical dance.
Performed at the Art Gallery of WA and opened by The Rt. Hon. Lord Mayor Ms. Lisa Scaffidi on Oct 8th, Nyssa featured seven beautiful classical dancers in a trio of works choreographed by Andries Weideman. The evening also featured live performances by the Ben Matthews Trio and harpist Michelle Smith.
it was also the launch of ArtsPowered - The new collective of small businesses that supports Visible Dance.

"I have supported Visible Dance since its inception in 2008, and seen it grow into a very capable and imaginative organisation, delivering some very special events and performances.
"Visible Dance is a great initiative by Jeremy Phillips and the young Australian dancers with whom he works. With so many of our own dancers compelled to leave Perth in search of work, I strongly support this project which seeks to increase the vibrancy of the dance scene in our own city by introducing their artform to whole new audiences.
"I look forward to seeing Visible Dance continue to grow and flourish this year and beyond."
